sawyer thomas

Sawyer is the son of a pastor, his father being a priest of the catholic church in Derry Maine.
Much like Stanley Uris, Sawyer is seen as unenthusiastic by religion; being surrounded by it from an early age.It started by skipping out on church, he'd get in heaps of trouble for skipping out; and he'd been forced into many confessionals before ultimately being written off by his father all together.This didn't come without any repercussion however, despite his family affluent funds — Sawyer had limited access to income that he didn't earn himself. His only vehicle being a 1978 Dodge B200 Van which requires regular maintenance and frequently breaks down.
His parents hope this "humbles" their son, and to an extent, it does.Since birth, Sawyer has lived next to Marilyn Fenix. She was his "girl next door" and first childhood crush — with the two spending many a night climbing up to one another's room or balcony and simply sharing a laugh, and on some nights, frustraitions.Once he made it to high school, Sawyer showed interest in playing the bass guitar. Much to his parent's dismay, Sawyer saved up money meant to repair his van on his very first bass which he'd bought from the local pawn shop.

He had a taste for heavy music, once again to his parent's dismay and began to attract new friends who were like minded. Sawyer began smoking and going to parties in the outskirts of town with a rougher population from out of town. Alcohol, Cigarettes, and Weed inevitably became involved, but never anything past that — which he'd more or less spread around to the students in Derry. This was how he'd been able to support himself, and to his parents, Sawyer had a humble job at a laundry mat. The irony of money laundering absolutely lost on him; but ultimately a job that would never run the risk of his parents visiting as they'd had no need to use it.Sawyer's core group however, is a rag tag group of punks who attend Derry High. And said group formed a band called Here Kitty Kitty. Featuring Sawyer on Bass, Lucy Reimann on Guitar and Backup Vocals, Joshua Baker as Lead Vocals, and Kenneth Clynes — the only member met through music class on keyboard and song writing. The band is still searching for a drummer however. Sawyer once tried to enlist Belch Huggins as a drummer, claiming all he does is hit things anyways — promptly earning himself a black eye.He'd brought Marilyn in on it one night. Introducing her to the concept of smoking, parties, and everything that came with it. And despite Marilyn's growth in popularity after hitting puberty; she'd still join in on their practices to show her support.
It would stop shortly afterwards, as Sawyer began to feel remorse in having a hand in changing Marilyn, and although he'd been the catalyst, it's likely she'd have fallen down this path regardless. After cutting Marilyn off entirely (being her only access to buying what she couldn't without some form of fake ID) out of love, it formed a drift between the two and ultimately left bitter feelings on her end.

Sawyer Thomas, next door neighbour to Marilyn Fenix. The two lived next to each other since early childhood, where they would play with one another up until the start of middle school, where Marilyn would eventually drift apart from Sawyer.
Despite this, Sawyer has had feelings for Marilyn for years on end.He has an unsucessful band, and a bass that he calls his baby.

Kenneth Clynes

kenneth is a soft spoken , more sensitive boy who was the second newest addition to the band followed by lucy reimann.kenneth ran into sawyer at the start of high school , where sawyer had discovered him playing the piano in the music room after school .
excitable with the prospect of a new member , sawyer begged kenneth to join his band —with the ability to write sheet music , sawyer and joshua found themselves with a valuable member at their side .kenneth is very passionate about music , willingly staying behind after school to play in the music room . and willing to play for the productions derry high's theatre club puts on .
he doesn't have many friends outside of his band , but he greets everyone with genuine respect .

kenneth took a particular liking to marilyn fenix , one of sawyer's closest friends before their initial argument that drifted the two apart .
he recognized passion in marilyn , and before she stopped going to their band practices all together ; found himself drawn to her .he has a tendency to fixate on people he deems passionate enough , at first it was sawyer before his attention turned to marilyn . thanks to sawyer and marilyn drifting apart , kenneth didn't have much reason to talk to marilyn anymore . causing him to find his own methods of admiring her in secret .

Lucy Reimann

Lucy is the only member ( aside from Kenneth ) that had any real talent . Sawyer had asked Lucy to join the band prior to asking Kenneth , but she had quickly turned him down —having no real interest in joining some garbage garage band .lucy's guitar was passed down to her from her father on her 15th birthday . living in the poor end of derry maine , her father gave her his prized possession .

And when she turned 16 , her father passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer . Her last link to her father was an Ibanez RG Standard .Lucy carries herself with utmost confidence , despite odds being stacked against her ( a lesbian who also happens to be poor ) bullying was rampant ; Rather , it tried to be . Lucy had no issues standing her ground with the students in derry . Girls found her to be a freak , guys openly sexualized her , but Lucy would continue to hold her head up high . Causing some students to inevitably find her intimidating simply because she knew how to accept herself .Lucy eventually took up Sawyer's offer , becoming the final member of Here Kitty Kitty .

Marilyn's mother was born and raised in Derry Maine , studying pharmaceuticals abroad she'd met her future husband where the two would move to Derry Maine to raise their family .Evangeline chose to raise her family in her childhood house in West Broadway — motherhood only suited her well until her second child , an accident .
Eva and her husband are frequently absent , of the two however , Evangeline is the parent home most commonly ; despite this she is still busy with work via business calls .

Evangeline despite her shortcomings as a mother , truly does care for her children . She supplies for them anything they want in place of availability and love , of the two children however , Evangeline was closest to her son — while most parents may struggle with raising a son over a daughter , Eva struggled more with raising Marilyn who required more attention than her elder brother in early childhood .
